Global Space Awards partners with Access Partnership to deliver international roundtable and research programme

The Global Space Awards has today announced a new partnership with Access Partnership to deliver a programme of international strategy roundtables and research examining the opportunities and challenges shaping the global space sector.

Under the partnership, Access Partnership will help facilitate and manage three exclusive roundtable sessions around the world, bringing together leaders from across the space ecosystem to discuss the commercial, regulatory and strategic issues influencing the sector.

Access Partnership will also work with GSA to co-author research reports that draw together insights from the three roundtables with data generated through the Global Space Awards and broader industry intelligence. Access Partnership will provide data insights and analytical support throughout the programme.

The partnership brings together GSA's international platform for identifying and recognising excellence across the global space sector with Access Partnership's expertise in convening industry leaders, analysing complex markets and translating discussion and data into practical insight.

Launched in 2025, the inaugural Global Space Awards, held at London's Natural History Museum, received 516 nominations from 30 countries and attracted hundreds of attendees. The 2026 edition of the Global Space Awards will take place on December 11th in London.

GSA is now expanding into a year-round programme, combining quarterly international strategy roundtables with the annual December awards and a publication bringing together insights from those discussions with data generated through industry analytics.

Sanjeev Gordhan, founder of the Global Space Awards, said: "From the outset, the Global Space Awards has sought to set a benchmark for what excellence looks like as the global space sector develops. The awards are a moment in time that gives us a unique view across the people, companies and technologies shaping that future. The next step is to use that platform to convene the sector around the issues that will determine what comes next.

"Working with Access Partnership allows us to turn those conversations into a regular flow of research and insights that will be useful for the wider industry. By bringing leaders together from the global space sector, and combining their perspectives with industry analytics and datasets, we can build a richer picture of the opportunities and challenges shaping the global space economy."

Andy Robb, Chief Space Officer at Access Partnership, said: "Recognition tells you who is leading the sector. Convening those leaders, and pairing what they say with hard data, tells you where this frontier is heading and what stands in its way. That is the gap this partnership with Global Space Awards is designed to close, for governments, investors and operators alike."
