London, U.K.November 6, 2025

FINALISTS FOR GLOBAL SPACE AWARDS TO BE ANNOUNCED IN EARTH'S STRATOSPHERE

The Global Space Awards (GSA) has announced that the finalists for the eight awards will be fittingly revealed in Earth's stratosphere, 37 km or 120,000 ft above our planet, with the launch window opening November 8. Each of the approximately 50 finalists across eight awards will shine from the edge of space and be posted on all of GSA's social media sites. The announcement was made jointly today by Sanjeev Gordhan, of the Global Space Awards, CIC, and Dr. Chris Rose of Sent Into Space.

Sanjeev Gordhan of the Global Space Awards CIC states, "There is no more fitting way to recognize these distinguished nominees than by honoring them from the very threshold of space. Through the use of advanced high-altitude balloon technology, capable of ascending to the edge of the stratosphere and capturing extraordinary visual data, Sent Into Space enables us to project their achievements into the cosmos symbolically — celebrating those whose work continues to propel discovery, innovation, and technological advancement in the field of space exploration."

The eight awards whose nominees will be projected in the stratosphere include: Playmaker of the Year Award, Super Scaler of the Year Award, Space Investor of the Year Award, Partnership of the Year Award, Innovation Breakthrough Award, Science Breakthrough Award, Sustainability for Earth Award, and Sustainability for Space Award.

Dr. Chris Rose of Sent Into Space continues, "Partnering with the Global Space Awards is a perfect alignment of purpose. These awards celebrate the remarkable individuals and organizations driving the advancement of space discovery. Revealing the nominees in such an extraordinary way makes this announcement all the more meaningful."
